Hotel Valladolid

This is a very nice hotel. The staff is exceedingly friendly. It is very clean and well-maintained (though an older facility). The wide halls and entrance foyer has tables, chairs, and a couch or two (that no one else seemed to use). There is a cute little adjoining restaurant, great for breakfast. I thought it was wonderfully quiet (Room 18A), but in fact two barking dogs were in close proximity and lively during two of my three nights--something the management could of course not control. Ample hot water--sometimes questionable in Mexico. Overall, a very nice stay, and surely more affordable than the hotels around and near the central plaza (and this is directly opposite the bus station). I'm not a touristic Valladolid city fan, but I would return to this hotel if occasion arises.

Highly recommend Hotel Valladolid for your stay in the city. Location is incredibly convenient -- right across from the ADO bus terminal -- and the staff are very welcoming and friendly. The younger gentlemen, who often works in the afternoons and evenings, was very kind and helpful during our stay by letting us know where to eat and directions to different areas. This hotel is great value for money. Highly recommend getting a room with AC as it can get really hot outside! Had no problems with Wi-Fi. Out of our 3 nights, we had 2 nights with hot water, but we didn't mind. Rooms were quite comfortable and clean. It wasn't too loud during our stay; granted, our room was located on the second floor not near any corners. Appreciate the authentic experience living in the city! P. S. We also recommend checking out the taco stand right around the corner of the hotel!

Good value for money with friendly and welcoming staff. Unfortunately, the only negative point is that we didn’t have hot water whenever we wanted to take a shower; and wifi isn’t working properly (Guess depending on the location of the room). Great location in front of the bus station in the city center.

Definitely the friendliest place in a really great location (in front of ADO bus terminal). The price was affordable, and the room was clean. The two female staff members and one male staff member at the front desk always greeted me warmly with a smile and kindly guided me. Thank you.

We have stayed here nearly every time we have gone to Valladolid. We were significantly impressed with the upgrades, new tile floors, fresh paint, very lovely foyer. Nice to see it alive & well in a very convenient location.

A well located and nice budget Hotel. If you are looking for one or two nights to stay, this could be what you looking for. Friendly staff and clean room.

Perfect location when you arrive by bus and very close to the city center. At night we expected some noise from the outside because of the bus terminal, but it was ok! Unfortunately late at night the were some noises, but they came from inside the hotel (people talking loud/laughing). That was quite disturbing! Overall we had a good stay. Staff was very friendly. We loved the fact that we could refill our water bottles in the hallway!

A very serviceable, but very basic hotel. It is located right in front of the ADO bus terminal, two blocks from the IRS office and two or three blocks from the central plaza, so it is extremely convenient for anybody who has business to do in the city, but lacks any touristic amenities like a pool, a convenience store, a restaurant, a bar or even a parking lot (that I've seen). I have no idea who says this is a three star hotel. It's gleaming clean and everything works, but you need to at least have a continental breakfast to score two stars.
